Valentines Day On a Budget

By Amanda J . Throckmorton

The last thing you want to do is Forget your significant other husband/wife or your mother or sister & etc. We get all of those different things like the media advertising a pendant necklace for a jewelry store or how everyone wants a certain anniversary ring. Is it really what we want or what we must have for Valentines day to be special?  In other words what is small actually can impact the way your family member feels about you. Get Creative and follow this.

1. Make it simple like making a card and than you could buy the special someone a small box of chocolates.  Many websites offer free ecards google free ecards  to print, or If your really creative you can design your own card to print through open office a free application or microsoft office picture it.

2. Make a home made pillow out of scratch Find a color that you like such as black, red ,pink or white in cotton or a light weight fabric. One one side of the piece, Use a stencil and cut out of felt I and than U,do it free hand too, to put on the front of the pillow also cut out , two hearts easy to do is the fold in half method and than place each piece on the front of the pillow . I didn’t use a straight stitch to sew it on. I use an applique stitch with the x’s in it. I can’t wait to give it away. Sew 3’1/2 sides wrong side together of the two sides of fabric. Make the pillow as big as you want or as small as you want. You can always cut out a Heart Pillow and sew it with her name on it.

3. A Letter and 1 flower to show the women of your dreams she’s the one for you. For men women should think giving them some shaving stuff.  Forget buying them music players, If you want to buy them a music card from Itunes that would be great also but when u don’t have much to spend you could almost make them some cupcakes from the box and google easy white frosting or buy a tub of frosting.

4. Cooking dinner for Valentines day and setting home with your DVR is romantic  with your significant other plus buying a movie off there would be nice but you can always watch one you already have.

5. Make a home movie for them to show them all the favorite moments you had with them. Google Slideshow software and make sure you have all the photos you need to start.

6. Don’t go for buying your significant other a workout dvd, It is not nice and you will be the scumbag of Valentines day. Also don’t let the fat in the chocolate bother you, You share the chocolate anyways, Valentines day comes once a year why not go all out and have a good time.

7. If your extra crafty in woodshop you can make them a jewelry box out of your extra scrap wood, stain and finish it.

8. Buying some bulbs for the Spring for your significant other would be a nice thing but stick with a budget If you can only afford a few bags of bulbs no fret If this is your significan’t others favorite flower.

9. Recycle for next year don’t throw away those Valentines boxes go to the store and buy some chocolate there to make chocolate covered turtles or buy some turtles and If you still have the box put the turtles in there and tape it and hide it away tell the big day.

10. A cd of your singing there favorite songs. Love is a fool so why don’t sing your heart out. Also you could make them a cd of her or his favorite songs.

11. On Valentines day you know everyone gets into the habit of placing flower petals on the floor, how tedious and predictable well why don’t you place a big red carpet instead and a note that says To my Queen follow the carpet. Lead the carpet to the bedroom or to the place to set and eat. On the area you lead place flowers, a card, and some sweets.

Deciding What Work At Home Business would work for me?

I know basic sewing skills.

Tried to get hired at a regular job but no luck. So I thought to myself why not try making a teddy bear business. Something different than the competitors. So I looked at the competitors and thought to myself there has to be more bears out there that could be cuter than the ones that are out there that charge an arm and a leg for a Teddy Bear.

I also thought what group of people Young to old I could get to buy this Teddy Bear.  How safe and easy this would be to make a teddy bear. I look at many patterns but decided to make my own patterns. So I cut the parts out like so and Wallah waiting to show the ending=Finished product. I also wanted a bear that could either move or set up straight.

Hp Psc 700/750 all in one Printer xp and windows 7 compatibility solved

I spent days and hours trying to figure out what went wrong I have a network printer on my Xp that is connected to a Hp Psc 750 now the computer I want my Hp psc 700/750 to work on I am on a Windows 7 in the other room which is the second computer, I have a network setup but not a network printer so they have to work off my Internet network. Anyways here are the steps I got it to work Now I've done many things with Windows xp as in troubleshooting but this is just what you need now for the Instructions: Go to your Windows Xp computer or whatever that is windows based------Go to the control panel-printers and faxes----click on the downloaded printer----- right click sharing----click share It should say the printer that you want to share click apply and ok. Now go back into the control panel--printers and faxes--in the folder right click on the printer again ----go to properties----Than Advanced Tab than go to the button that says new driver select hp psc 750 because It might say 700 or something like that click apply and ok close. Than go back to your Windows 7 and make sure that you've installed Hp psc 750 driver from the Windows 7 printer menu and once you have right click troubleshoot on the printer in the printer menu and it should say we have a fix for you so you can download hp psc 750 click ok and your able to print.
